About Bali
About 8 degrees south of the equator in the Indian Ocean, Bali is just one of 17,000 islands in the world’s largest archipelago, Indonesia. (give or take 1000 depending on the tides!) Less than 4,000 islands are actually inhabited. Bali today, has a population of nearly 4 million in a nation of 270 million people. Located between Java and Lombok, and known for tropical beaches, lush valleys and sacred volcanoes, Bali maintains a unique society blending art and ritual in daily life. Terraced rice-fields, skilled artisans, dancers and gamelan musicians, Bali is a place that has touched many visitors with its welcoming hospitality. Ubud, as the arts and cultural center of island, is where you can begin your journey into the heart of Balinese culture.

Tucked away among luscious gardens in the quieter outskirts of the holistic wellness hub of Ubud, arrive at a local family-owned boutique hotel reputed for its friendly service, artful design and peaceful ambience. It's certified by the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy for being clean, healthy, safe and environmentally sustainable. Located 10-15 minutes walking distance from Ubud city center, restaurants, shops and the Monkey Forest, you'll have the option of free shuttle service to access town, as well.
Day 1 - October 7, 2023
By 12-1pm - Plan to arrive at Denpasar International Airport and receive your private transfer to your hotel. 1-2pm Check-in at our boutique hotel & enjoy Free Time 3pm Afternoon Snack, Welcome Circle & Intention-Setting Ritual Explore the neighborhood with a Mindful Nature Walk in the Sacred Monkey Forest. 5pm Flow & Restore Yoga with Breathwork, Meditation & Journaling at our hotel Yoga shala 6:30pm Enjoy Dinner & Balinese Arts Performance
Day 2 - October 8
8am Morning Meditation, Breathwork, Journaling and Hatha Yoga at hotel shala 9:15am Breakfast provided at hotel 11am Participate in Traditional Balinese Water Blessing Ritual, Mindful Nature Walk at stunning rice terraces, traditional lunch at a local village and waterfall excursion Free Time 5:00pm Ancient Sound Healing or other holistic healing session at an exquisite local wellness center 6:30pm Dinner on your own
Day 3 - October 9
8am Morning Meditation, Breathwork, Journaling and Hatha Yoga at hotel shala 9:15am Breakfast provided at hotel Mindful Nature Walk along picturesque Campuhan Ridge Free Time for massage and spa treatments, to explore Ubud art market, etc. Lunch on your own 4pm Balinese Cooking Class 6:30pm Dinner included in the class 8pm Evening Yin & Restorative Yoga at the hotel shala
Day 4 - October 10
8am Morning Meditation, Breathwork, Journaling and Hatha Yoga at hotel shala 9:15am Breakfast provided at hotel 11am Check-out & Group transport to Northwest Bali region with stops at the majestic Munduk waterfalls, a cafe for lunch on your own and the beautiful Melanting Temple 5pm Arrive at our wellness resort in Buleleng Regency on the northwest coast.
Days 4-7, Northwest Coast of Bali - Art in Nature
This quiet corner of Bali is rich in authentic nature and culture. Savor slower-paced living and serene views of volcanoes, countryside and sea. Learn about the local community's traditional way of life and intimate connection with Mother Earth through their reforestation and coral reef restoration projects. On a peaceful hilltop surrounded by hiking trails, our multiple-room villa at our vast retreat center is fully equipped for relaxation with swimming pool and various open-air and indoor lounge areas.

Day 5 - October 11
8am Morning Meditation, Breathwork, Journaling and Hatha Yoga in the shala 9:15am Meet for breakfast at one of the retreat center's on-site restaurants 11am Botanical Hike along the surrounding nature trails (Our admission fee supports the local reforestation project.) Lunch on your own Free Time option to ride to Pemuteran Beach and village 6:30pm Dinner at retreat restaurant 8pm Yin Yoga in the shala
Day 6 - October 12
8am Morning Meditation, Breathwork, Journaling and Hatha Yoga in the shala 9:15am Meet for breakfast at one of the retreat center's on-site restaurants 11am Head to the coral reef restoration site at the breathtaking Sumberkima Bay for an optional snorkeling excursion to sponsor a baby coral (donation included in retreat) with your personal wish in the underwater art gallery. Lunch on your own 4pm soul Movement session at the Sumberkima Bay shala 6:30pm Dinner at retreat restaurant 8pm Closing Circle
Day 7 - October 13
8am Morning Meditation, Breathwork, Journaling and Hatha Yoga in the shala 9:15am Meet for breakfast at one of the retreat center's on-site restaurants 11am Check-out & Group transport to Denpasar International Airport or Sanur Beach , if you will be staying on longer (approx. 4 hours away) - Plan to book international flights departing at 6:30pm or later from Denpasar, allowing you to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours prior, depending on traffic.
Day 7-10, Sanur Beach - Art of Balanced Living
Enjoy the balance of this laid-back seaside town with calm waters and flavored with international restaurants, shops and the option to ride the ferry boat to the pristine beaches of Nusa Penida. Just steps from the sand, enjoy the comfort and luxury of an award-winning boutique hotel, commended for its support of sustainable eco-friendly travel.
